Our Story

MK Physiotherapy was born out of a passion for people - showing compassion and educating individuals on their bodies have been the pillars on which this practice was built. Starting as a single practice in Rivonia, we survived the gruelling COVID pandemic of 2020 and have grown into a staff of five members and two locations.
Helping You Access Approved Benefits
We take a personal interest in helping our patients access the most appropriate medical aid benefits. Where clinically appropriate, we liaise directly with your medical aid and assist with applications for additional scheme benefits - often helping preserve your day-to-day savings.
Sports Injury Benefit (SIB)
Some medical aid schemes provide additional funding for physiotherapy following approved sports-related injuries, helping you recover and return to activity.
Advanced Illness Benefit (AIB)
Some medical aid schemes offer additional benefits for members with serious or advanced illnesses, which may include physiotherapy as part of a multidisciplinary treatment plan.
Prescribed Minimum Benefits (PMBs)
Certain emergency and ongoing medical conditions may qualify for physiotherapy funding under PMBs, subject to your diagnosis and scheme rules.
Oncology Benefit
Physiotherapy may form part of your cancer rehabilitation journey, with some medical aid schemes providing cover through oncology benefit programmes.
Chronic Illness Benefit (CIB)
Members registered for approved chronic conditions may have access to additional physiotherapy benefits, depending on their medical aid plan.
